First thing's first, nailing the legendary status of a Pokemon card is like finding a treasure in the sandbox. Legendary Pokemon cards often tout unique, shining, or holographic artwork that screams 'I'm special!' Plus, they feature legendary Pokemon (think Lugia, Mewtwo, etc.), and the card's name or description usually gives away its prestigious rank. Don't forget to peek at the bottom of the card where the rarity symbol lives – a star, or sometimes a special symbol, means you've hit the jackpot!

Honestly, if you need to ask, it probably isn't legendary. Legendary cards make you feel like you won the lottery the moment you lay eyes on them.

Just flip the card over and look for the rarity symbol. If you see a shiny little star, congrats, you're looking at a card that's at least rare, which often includes legendary Pokemon. But hey, not all stars are legendary, so check if it's a known legendary creature!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
