How do you know if a PS3 controller is charging?

When you plug in your PS3 controller, the red LED lights should start blinking to indicate that it's charging. Once it stops blinking and stays solid, it's fully charged!

A charging PS3 controller will have the red lights on the top flashing. If the lights are off, it's either fully charged or not charging at all.
