How do you know if a Funko Pop is fake?

First up, check the box! A real Funko Pop's box should be almost as flawless as the figure inside. Look for any strange typos or glaring errors, which are dead giveaways. Also, take a close look at the figure's paint job. Authentic Funkos have neat, precise paintwork. If it looks sloppy, you might be dealing with a fake. Don't forget the Funko logo and the serial number on the bottom of the box and the figure; both should be clear and correct.

Seriously, just weigh it! Original Funko Pops have a certain heft to them, thanks to the quality of materials used. If it feels too light, chances are it's not the real deal.

Honestly, most of the fakes are pretty obvious. If the price seems too good to be true, it probably is. Stick to reputable sellers, and you'll be less likely to end up with a counterfeit.

I got a fake once, trust me, the quality just screams 'I'm a phony!' The real ones have this vibe, like they're proud to be part of your collection. Fakes? Not so much. Always check for that sparkle of authenticity in their eyes - or, you know, the lack thereof.
