Spotting a rare Pokemon card is like finding a shiny in the wild! Mainly, check the bottom right corner of the card for a symbol. Common cards have a circle, uncommon cards have a diamond, and rare cards boast a star. For ultra-rare finds, look out for shiny holographic cards, or cards with special art (Full Art, Secret Rare, etc.). If it's got gold borders or unique holographic patterns, you might be holding a treasure!

Just flip it! If you see a star at the bottom, congrats, you've got a rare. No need to overcomplicate things.

Honestly, I once thought I had a regular card until I learned about the symbols. Found a star on what I thought was just another card, turned out to be a super rare. Always check the symbols, folks!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
