Just look for the shiny ones lol. But seriously, holographic cards or those with a star symbol tend to be worth more. And if it's an old card from the original sets, you might just be sitting on a goldmine.

You can tell a Pokemon card is expensive by checking its rarity symbol, the condition it's in, and how much demand there is among collectors. Special editions, misprints, or cards with unique artwork, especially from early editions, often have high value. Plus, there are websites and online price guides where you can check the current market value.

The real key is the card鈥檚 condition and rarity. A PSA or Beckett grading can skyrocket the value if it's high. I sold a PSA 10 Charizard for a fortune last year!

Honestly, most cards aren't worth much, but the ones that are can be REALLY pricey. Best bet is to check online databases or forums for the latest prices. Just don't get your hopes up too high unless you've got something truly rare or in mint condition.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
