Log into Instagram, go to your profile, tap the menu (three lines), then Settings. Under Account, choose Linked Accounts and select Facebook.
I linked mine in like 2 mins. Profile > Menu > Settings > Account > Linked Accounts > Facebook. Done and dusted.
