If you have unused letters when the game ends, their point values get subtracted from your final score. So use 'em wisely!

You lose points if you play an invalid word or if your opponent challenges a word that you played and it's deemed incorrect. Be careful with those tricky words!

Hot take: You actually don't lose points unless you misplay or can't use your tiles effectively. Just play smart and you'll be golden!

Personal experience here: I once held onto high-value letters hoping for a big play, but the game ended and I lost those points. Don't be like me!

If you're a Words with Friends player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Words with Friends essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
