How do you make a chest in Terraria?
Honestly, just find chests in the world. Crafting them is a waste of resources you could use on better gear. Just my two cents.

To make a chest in Terraria, you gotta hit up your nearest workbench first. Next, make sure you've hoarded 8 pieces of any wood (the game ain't picky) and 2 iron or lead bars (cause a chest without a lock is just a fancy box). Mash those ingredients together at your workbench, and voilà, you've crafted yourself a chest! Now you can stash all your Terraria treasures safe and sound.
