Super easy! Just go to the PlayStation site, log out, and select 'Create New Account.' Choose Japan as your region, fill in the usual details, and you're good to go! Pro tip: Google Translate is your friend.

I made a Japanese PSN account by creating a new profile on my PS4, choosing Japan as my region, and using a random Japanese address I found online. It鈥檚 a bit of a hassle but worth it for the exclusive content!

First, log out of your current PSN account. Head to the PlayStation website, create a new account, and set your region to Japan. Use a real Japanese address (search online for one), and make sure you have an email that isn't tied to any other PSN account.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
