Making a Mechanical Skull in Terraria is pretty straightforward but feels like a mini-quest on its own! You'll need 30 Bones, 5 Iron Bars (or Lead Bars, because the game is flexible like that), 3 Soul of Light, and 3 Soul of Night. Mix them all together at a Mythril or Orichalcum Anvil, and voila, you've got yourself a spooky Mechanical Skull to summon Skeletron Prime. Remember to farm those Souls of Light and Night in the Underground Hallow and Corruption/Crimson areas respectively. Happy crafting!

Just slam together 30 bones, 5 iron or lead bars, 3 souls of light, and 3 souls of night at a Mythril or Orichalcum Anvil. Easy peasy. Don't overthink it!

Honestly, why bother making a Mechanical Skull when you can sometimes get it as a drop from any enemy in the Hardmode post-destroying any Mechanical Boss? Save the materials and grind enemies instead!
