Start by clearing a flat area on your island. Then, place saplings with at least two blocks of space between them for optimal growth. Don't forget to water 'em regularly!
Make sure to plant saplings with enough space between them鈥攊deally, 2-3 blocks apart. Use sprinklers if you have them to speed up the process!
In my experience, the best way is to plant saplings in rows with a gap of two blocks between each sapling. This gives trees enough room to grow big and strong!
