Go to your profile, click on 'Friends,' then the pencil icon in the top right corner. Select 'Edit Privacy' and change 'Friend List' to 'Only Me.' Done!
I made mine private by going to my profile, selecting 'Friends,' and then clicking on the pencil icon. I set 'Friend List' to 'Only Me.' Worked like a charm!
