Just a heads up - making Molotov Cocktails used to be super easy, but the devs tweaked the recipe. Now, you need Silk along with your Ale and Torches. Kinda makes you treasure each throw a bit more, doesn't it?

Molotovs? Too much hassle. Just find a good sword and swing away. Much simpler.
To whip up a Molotov Cocktail in Terraria, you're gonna need a few things first. Grab yourself some Ale, a bunch of Torches (5 should do the trick), and some Silk. Head over to a Work Bench, and voila, you've got yourself a fiery bottle of destruction. Just remember, don't drink it!
