Opening the mailbox in Animal Crossing is super easy! Just walk up to it and press the 'A' button. That's all there is to it. This will let you access all your letters and gifts from your villager friends and maybe even a message from Tom Nook himself. Remember, checking your mailbox regularly is part of the fun and keeps you connected with all the happenings in your village.

Sometimes, I swear, I get more mail in Animal Crossing than in real life. But yeah, hit 'A' when you're in front of your mailbox. If you're playing New Horizons, your mailbox starts next to your house, but you can move it later. Checking it is kinda like real life; you never know what surprises you'll find inside!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
