Unscrew and pop off the top cover. You'll need a Torx screwdriver for some screws. Be careful with the ribbon cables!

First, unplug everything. Then, remove the warranty sticker and the screws underneath it. Slide off the top cover and you’re in!

I've opened my PS3 a few times. Unplug everything, remove screws, then take off the top cover. Just go slow and you'll be fine.
