Use the Facebook Messenger app on your phone. Tap the pencil icon to create a new message and type in your friend's name. Then, just start typing your message!
Just click on the Messenger icon (the little speech bubble with a lightning bolt) at the top of your Facebook page, then you can start a new message by typing in your friend's name. Easy peasy!
Open a friend's profile and hit the 'Message' button. Type away and make their day!
