Skills like Stealth help a lot with pickpocketing in Starfield. Speaking from experience, boosting my Stealth level made those space heists so much fun!
In Starfield, you can pickpocket by creeping up behind unsuspecting NPCs and interacting with them while in sneak mode. You gotta make sure you're not detected, or else stealth will go out the window faster than you can say 'galactic police'! It's an exciting way to gather items, but be warned - high skill levels in Stealth and related perks will make you a far sneakier space bandit.
