Planting coconut trees in Animal Crossing is a total beach party! First, make sure you grab some coconuts from a mystery island or another player's island. Then, find a sandy beach on your own island. Just dig a hole with your shovel right on the beach and bury the coconut. Voila! Water it if you want to feel extra nurturing, but it's not a must. Just give it a few days, and you'll have your very own coconut tree. Remember, coconuts only grow on the beach, so don't try to plant them in the regular dirt.

Everyone's going on about planting them on the beach, but has anyone tried planting coconuts on grass with a sandy path underneath? Spoiler: it doesn't work, but you gotta admit, it would've been cool.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
