Playing with friends in Animal Crossing is all about visiting each other's islands! You gotta have a Nintendo Online subscription first, though. Once that's sorted, head over to the airport in your game, talk to Orville, and choose to either visit a friend's island or open your gates so friends can come to you. Just make sure you're all friends on your Nintendo Switches first! It's a blast showing off your island's setup or checking out what your buddies have done with their places.

Honestly, just keep to yourself. The charm of Animal Crossing comes from building your own perfect little escape. Friends just trample your flowers.

Simple: Open your gates or fly out! Make sure your Nintendo Online is active, and you're good to go. It's the perfect way to chill with your pals, sharing fruits, fossils, or just some laughs.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
