To post a long video, use Instagram TV (IGTV). Just open the app, press the plus sign, select IGTV Video, and follow the prompts. Voila, longer video posted!

If your video is under 60 seconds, you can post it directly to your feed. For longer videos, you can break them into 15-second clips and post them as a Story.
Longest video for your feed? 60 seconds. Longer than that? IGTV is your friend.
