Easiest way? Just press and hold the power button on the console for a few seconds. Two beeps mean it's totally off.
Power button on the controller, scroll to power icon, select 'Turn Off PS5'. Literally three steps, folks!
From the home screen, press the PlayStation button, go to the power icon, and select 'Turn Off PS5'. Done and done!
I always use Rest Mode, but if you want it fully off, just hold the power button on the console for a bit. Simple!
