Releasing pals in Palworld is pretty straightforward, just like saying goodbye to your beloved pet with a heavy heart. Go to your inventory, select the Pal you wanna set free, and there should be an option to 'Release' them back into the wild. Make sure it's what you really wanna do, though. Once they're gone, they're gone for good!

I released a Pal once, thinking I could just catch it again. Spoiler: It didn't wait around. Make sure you're 100% before hitting that release button.
