Resetting your Animal Crossing: New Horizons game is like saying goodbye to your virtual besties, but sometimes a fresh start is needed! Here's the lowdown: On the Switch Home menu, open System Settings, scroll down to Data Management, then select Delete Save Data. Find Animal Crossing and hit the big red Delete button. Just remember, it’s a one-way ticket - everything disappears!

Okay, so I did this once and it hurt, but sometimes you just need a clean slate. Go into your System Settings on your Switch, find Data Management, and then there's an option to delete save data. Choose Animal Crossing: New Horizons and confirm. It's like Thanos snapping his fingers on your island life. Everything you've built, gone. So make sure you're ready for that heartbreak.

Just smash that delete button under Data Management in System Settings. RIP island.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
