Easiest way to restrict someone on Facebook: Go to their profile, click on the 'Friends' button, select 'Edit Friend List,' and choose 'Restricted'. Now they can only see what you make public!
From personal experience: Restricting someone worked wonders for me! They didn鈥檛 realize I was filtering them out, and peace was restored to my newsfeed.
