You don't have to manually save in Ark on PS4. The game automatically saves your progress every 15 minutes or so. Just make sure you're connected to the internet and your progress will be saved!

Ark on PS4 saves automatically. Just make sure you exit the game properly to ensure the save process completes successfully.
