Setting weapons in Fallout 76 is all about quick access so you can easily switch during combat. First, open your Pip-Boy and navigate to the 'Items' section. Just drag and drop, buddy. Open the Pip-Boy, go to 'Items', and press the button to favorite your weapon. Then use the quick select wheel to switch weapons when you're out there facing the wasteland's finest.
Honestly, just favorite the weapons you use the most. It saves SO much time. I usually set a close-range weapon, a long-range one, and something for crowd control. Been doing this since day 1, and it's a game-changer, especially in tough fights.
