You can't directly transfer robux. The trading option and buying in-game items are workarounds if you've got a Premium account.
You can share robux by creating and selling clothing items or game passes; ask your friend to buy them! It's a nice way to support each other's creativity!
Trust me, the best way to share robux is by exchanging game passes. I did this with my friend, and it worked seamlessly. Just make sure you're both honest!
