Summoning the Destroyer in Terraria is pretty straightforward, but you gotta wait for night time because this mechanical worm doesn't appreciate the sunlight. First off, you need to craft a Mechanical Worm. To make one, you'll need 6 Rotten Chunks (or 6 Vertebrae if you're in a Crimson world), 5 Iron Bars (or Lead Bars, depending on what your world generated), and 6 Souls of Night. You can find these Souls in the Underground Corruption or Crimson. Once it's night, just use the Mechanical Worm and brace yourself for the battle!

Just craft a Mechanical Worm and use it at night. Easy peasy!

Honestly, why bother with the Destroyer when you're probably going to spend half the fight running for your life? Just kidding; follow the crafting recipe, wait for night, and good luck!
