Go to a spaceport, talk with a ship tech, and presto change-o, your home ship is now whatever you want it to be!
Complete your ship switcheroo by accessing the ship menu, selecting the ship you want, and choosing 'Set as Home Ship.' Easy peasy!
Just hit up the ship services guy, select your ship, and you're good to go!
