First, make sure to unplug everything and remove the hard drive. Then, use a small flat-head screwdriver to pop off the side vents. There are hidden clips along the sides and back, so be gentle and patient to avoid breaking them. Once the vents are off, you'll see screws that need to be removed to open the case. After that, you should be able to carefully separate the case halves and access the internals. Good luck, and remember to keep track of those screws!

Pry open the case gently to avoid damaging any clips. Voila! You're inside. Be sure to follow a tutorial if you need visuals.

Just take it to a professional. Seriously, it's easy to break stuff in there.

I did this last weekend! Remove the hard drive and side vents first by using a flat-head screwdriver. Next, unscrew the screws on the sides and back. Carefully pull apart the case. Make sure you have a magnetic tray for the screws鈥攊t saves a lot of time!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
