How do you tell fake Pokemon cards from real?
AttendingStoke·7 months agoA dead giveaway is the card texture and color. Real Pokemon cards have a distinct smooth feel and vibrant colors. Fakes often feel flimsy and the colors might look off or dull. Another tip: check the card border, real cards have clean and even borders. Oh, and the light test! Hold it up to a light, real cards have a bit of transparency.

Honestly, just buy from reputable sellers. Avoid sketchy deals that seem too good to be true.
Just weigh them! Real cards weigh more cuz of the better quality. Also, the holographic layer adds weight. Fake ones feel like they're made of paper LOL
Font, font, font! If the text looks blurry or the font does not match other cards, it’s a fake. Also, real Pokemon cards always spell 'Pokémon' with the é. So, yeah, keep an eye on the text.
