Go to your Roku's settings, scroll to 'Accessibility', select 'Captions mode', and choose 'Off'. Problem solved with just a few clicks!

Tried this myself! Instead of heading to settings every time, just press that star button on your remote while watching. It's a quick way to toggle captions!
