You can turn off comments on a Facebook post by selecting the three dots at the top right of your post and choosing 'Who can comment on your post?' Then, set it to 'Friends,' 'Friends except…,' or 'Only me.'

You can't totally turn off comments on Facebook. Your best bet is restricting who can comment to 'Only me.'
Just go to your post, click the three dots in the top-right corner, and choose 'Who can comment on your post?' Simple as that!
I’ve tried this: head to your profile, find the post, click on the three dots, and then select 'Who can comment on your post?' to limit commenting. Works like a charm!
