Go to Settings > Ease of Access > Narrator, then toggle the Narrator option off. Easy peasy!

I had this problem too! Pressing and holding the Xbox button until it vibrates, then pressing the Menu button three times did the trick for me!

Hey, just hold down the Xbox button until the power menu comes up, then scroll down to 'Turn off Narrator' and you're done!

Pro tip: Go to the Home screen, press the Xbox button to open the guide, go to Profile & system > Settings > Ease of Access > Narrator, and turn it off. You're welcome!
