To use an amiibo in Splatoon 2, head over to the amiibo box in Inkopolis Square's plaza. Just tap your amiibo on the right Joy-Con's NFC touchpoint, and voila, the magic happens! Enjoy your new gear or save your inkling's outfit and settings.
