Super simple! Just head over to the Nook Stop terminal in your Resident Services building in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. There, you'll select the amiibo option. Once prompted, place your amiibo card on the right joystick of your Nintendo Switch controller, and voilà, the character on the card pops up in your game! They might visit your campsite or even move into your village if you play your cards right. Plus, it's a fun way to collect your favorite characters and get some cool items along the way.

Hot take but I think the amiibo cards are kinda overrated. I mean, they're neat for collecting, but the game's already awesome without needing to collect all these cards. Just my two cents!

I actually used one to invite K.K. Slider for a special concert on my island, and it was epic! You just scan the card, and the characters can do stuff like visit or send you special items. Totally worth it if you ask me.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
