First, you'll need to enable the console in your game's config files. Locate the file DefaultEngine.ini in your XCOM: Enemy Within directory, then find the section titled 'Engine.Engine' and add the line: `bConsoleEnabled=True`. Finally, launch the game and press the backquote key (`) to open the console!

Just edit the DefaultEngine.ini file to enable the console, then press the backquote key (`) in-game. Simple enough!

Who needs console commands anyway? Play like a true commander and embrace the challenge!

With the proper game modification (modding) of the DefaultEngine.ini file to include `bConsoleEnabled=True`, you can then use the backquote key (`) in-game to bring up the console.
