Wishing on stars in Animal Crossing is super chill! Just make sure your character isn't holding anything. Then, when you see a shooting star in the night sky, tilt your camera up, and press the 'A' button. Boom! Wish made. Keep an eye on the sky for more stars; they often come in groups!

Honestly, it's all about having patience. I camped out near the beach on my island, and it was worth it. Caught like 20 wishes in one night. Keep your tools pocketed, and your eyes on the sky!

Just a heads-up, don't bother spamming 'A'. One press per shooting star is enough. The real magic is in the timing, not button mashing.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
