A balk in MLB The Show happens when you commit certain pitching violations, like starting your delivery and stopping or making an illegal pick-off move. It's all about those sneaky pitcher shenanigans!

Straight to the point: you balk by not following the pitching rules. Period.

In MLB The Show, you'll get called for a balk if your pitcher does something like faking a pitch or not stepping off the rubber properly. Keep it clean!

From my experience, a balk in MLB The Show often happens when you start your wind-up and then stop abruptly or make a move that's considered illegal. Annoying but realistic!

If you're a MLB The Show Companion App player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in MLB The Show Companion App essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
