A Solar Eclipse in Terraria is a randomly occurring event that starts at the beginning of a Terraria day (4:30 AM in-game time). It's like the game decides to throw a curveball at you, turning the day into night and spawning various monsters and unique enemies. Think of it as the universe's way of saying, 'Surprise! Here's a challenge.' You don't need to do anything specific to trigger it; just play the game, and eventually, it'll happen. It's more common after defeating the Wall of Flesh and entering Hardmode, so keep your swords sharp and your wits about you!

Actually, I think Solar Eclipses are too random. Would be cool if there were specific conditions to trigger them, makes planning for loot drops easier.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
