You just move the left stick in the direction you want the ball to go before you swing. Perfect for pushing a runner over or aiming for that big gap in the outfield!

Left stick aiming ftw! Move it where you want the ball, then hit. Bam, that's how it's done.

Directional hitting in MLB The Show lets you influence the direction of the ball when you swing. Just push the left stick towards where you want the ball to go and swing away!

Directional hitting works by using the left stick to aim your hits. Up for flyballs, down for grounders.

If you're a MLB The Show Companion App player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in MLB The Show Companion App essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!
