How does double blocking work in MTG?
Double blocking in MTG lets two (or more) of your creatures team up to block a single attacker from your opponent. When you choose to double block, both of your creatures engage the attacking creature. Here’s the fun part: the attacker's controller decides the damage assignment order for the blockers. But remember, each blocker must be assigned lethal damage before any damage can spill over to the next blocker in line. It's a strategic move that can turn the tide of battle, but use it wisely!

Simply put, double blocking is when you use two of your creatures to block a single attacker. The attacker's controller gets to order the blockers and has to deal enough damage to 'destroy' the first before hitting the second. It's like saying, 'You shall not pass!' with extra backup.
Double blocking? Overrated. Most times, you're just setting yourself up to lose two creatures instead of one. Be smart with your blocks.
