Ephemerate is a spell in Magic: The Gathering that lets you "blink" a creature - meaning you exile it, then immediately return it to the battlefield under its owner's control. This can be super useful for re-triggering enter-the-battlefield effects or dodging removal spells. Plus, it has rebound, so you get to cast it again for free on your next upkeep!

Actually, Ephemerate's pretty straightforward. Exile a creature, then bring it right back. Great for doubling up on those sweet, sweet enter-the-battlefield abilities.

Ephemerate is overrated. Sure, it re-triggers abilities, but there are better cards for that without having to wait for a rebound.

Ephemerate? It's basically a quick getaway car for your creatures. Exile them, bring them back before anyone notices, and if you play it right, they come back with all sorts of goodies. And because of rebound, you do it all over again next turn for zero mana. Magic's version of 'rinse and repeat'.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
