How does equipment work in Magic The Gathering?
In MTG, Equipment cards are a type of artifact that you attach, or 'equip', to a creature you control to give it bonuses or special abilities. You play it by paying its mana cost, then you can attach it to a creature by paying its equip cost. Think of it as giving your creature a tool or weapon! You can move it around between creatures you control by paying the equip cost again, but only any time you could cast a sorcery.

Equipments are like fancy hats for your creatures! Pay the mana cost, slap that hat onto your creature, and watch them strut with new powers or buffs. Remember, though, you can't just swap hats mid-battle. Only on your turn or when casting a sorcery, okay?
Honestly, I think people overcomplicate it. Equipment = permanent power-up for your creatures. Pay to play, pay to attach. Simple!
From personal experience, equipments can seriously turn the tide in a game. Had a match where my opponent underestimated my 'harmless' 1/1 creature. Once I equipped it with a Sword of Fire and Ice, it became an absolute powerhouse, dealing damage directly and drawing me cards. Timing and strategy with equipments can make all the difference.
