Expansion // Explosion is a split card from the Guilds of Ravnica set. The Expansion half can copy target instant or sorcery spell with converted mana cost 4 or less, and you can choose new targets for the copy. It's like getting a BOGO deal on spells! The Explosion part deals X damage to any target and forces that player or planeswalker's controller to draw X cards, where X is the amount of mana you pour into it. So, if you've got the mana, Explosion can turn into a game-ending play by blasting your opponent and replenishing your hand!

I once used Explosion for 20 damage at a local tournament, drawing 20 cards in the process. It felt like overkill, but hey, a win is a win!

Honestly, just use Explosion to finish off your opponent. Nothing beats the look on their face when you zap them and draw a bunch of cards. It's kinda like having your cake and eating it too.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
