Nah, it's simpler than it sounds. Just share your library and let others play your games when you're not. Just watch out for those pesky restrictions.

Steam's game sharing is pretty cool actually! It's called Family Sharing. First off, you gotta enable Steam Guard in your Steam account settings. Then, you can authorize up to five accounts and ten devices to access your game library. But, remember, only one person can play a game from your library at any given time. So, if you're playing something and your buddy wants to play another game from your library, you'll get the boot. Also, not all games support Family Sharing, especially those requiring additional subscriptions or third-party accounts.

Been sharing my library with my siblings for years. Smooth sailing mostly, except for the times we fight over who gets to play what. The one-at-a-time rule is a bummer sometimes, but it's better than buying several copies of the same game.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
