'In Search of Greatness' is a nifty enchantment card from MTG that basically gives you a leg up every turn. At the beginning of your upkeep, you can look at the top card of your library. If it's a permanent card with a mana cost less than or equal to the highest mana cost among other permanents you control, you can put it onto the battlefield for free! Otherwise, you can put it into your hand by paying 2 life. It's like getting a freebie based on what you've already played, making it awesome for decks that ramp up!

Just to clarify, 'In Search of Greatness' doesn't let you put the top card into your hand by paying 2 life. You can scry 1 at the beginning of your upkeep if you didn't put a card onto the battlefield with its ability. It's all about giving you that edge by potentially dropping permanents for free or setting up your next draw.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
