How does Kess work with Adventure cards in MTG?
So, for those scratching their heads, Kess, Dissident Mage lets you cast an instant or sorcery from your graveyard on each of your turns. Now, when we talk about Adventure cards, things get a touch spicy. Adventure cards are creatures with a bonus sorcery or instant spell attached. When you cast the Adventure part from your graveyard using Kess, remember, the card has to go to exile immediately after. But the catch? It doesn't really make it there because the spell part of an Adventure card can't exist outside the stack or your hand. So, it ends up in your graveyard as a failed state attempt due to Kess’s ability. It's like trying to sneak a creature card in through the sorcery door; it doesn't quite fit, but you still tried.

Nah, Kess and Adventure cards don't mesh well. Kess lets you cast spells from your graveyard, but Adventure spells from those cards technically aren't in the right zone to work with Kess's ability. Basically, trying to use Kess with an Adventure card's sorcery or instant is like trying to fit a square peg through a round hole. It just doesn't work.
