How does Mastermind's Acquisition work in MTG Arena?
Actually, Mastermind's Acquisition only lets you pick cards from your sideboard in Arena. No grabbing stuff from your collection mid-game, which honestly, keeps things fair and balanced.

Mastermind's Acquisition in MTG Arena works just like it does in paper MTG. It lets you choose one of two things: either you search your library for a card and put that card into your hand, then shuffle your library, OR you choose a card you own from outside the game and put it into your hand. In MTG Arena, 'outside the game' means cards in your sideboard, so it's a great way to snag exactly what you need during a match!
Mastermind's Acquisition is basically your own personal shopper, but for spells. Need something from your deck? It's got you. Need something from the sideboard? No problem. Just remember, in Arena, 'outside the game' doesn't mean your entire digital collection. Stick to the sideboard!
