It's all SBMM (Skill-Based Matchmaking). Some love it, some hate it. It means you play against people as good as you, which sounds good but can make every game feel like a world championship final if you're decent.

Honestly, matchmaking feels random sometimes. Sure, it's supposed to be skill-based, but you'll have days where you feel like a pro and others where it's like you've forgotten how to play. Just enjoy the ride and focus on improving your own game!

Matchmaking in Apex Legends uses a skill-based system. Basically, the game looks at how good you are (think kills, wins, etc.) and tries to put you in a game with people of a similar skill level. So, if you're just starting out, you'll likely be matched with other newbies. As you get better, you'll start seeing tougher opponents. It's all about keeping the game fair and fun for everyone!

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
